My friends and I held a baby shower last month for our good friend NataLee (who is expecting any day now). Can you guess NataLee's favorite season? Yes, you got it - it's FALL! So it was decided we would create a fall decor baby shower with a dessert bar (who doesn't love dessert?). The natural beauty of the fall season made it easy to decorate. I purchased brown satin fabric for $2 a yard and burlap for about the same at Walmart. The fabric was laid on the serving table with the burlap bunched in the middle. Pretty serving dishes and cake stands helped display the desserts! Silk fall leaves were scattered about to add color. Several friends contributed to the yummy dessert collection. As you can see, I have some talented baking friends.

Old-fashioned milk bottles filled with milk and chocolate milk made for unique drinks. The milk was kept in the freezer for a couple of hours before the party (nothing better than ice cold milk) Fine, crushed ice (special order from the grocery store) was placed on a serving tray and used to keep the milk cold! Labels were printed on the computer and hot-glued with ribbon to the bottles.

Dessert labels add the perfect details.

Pumpkin
brownie pops would be the perfect dessert for a fall theme shower.

What a beautiful gourmet
cake! Easy to make - bake a basic 2 layer cake, frost, add pirouette cookies around the sides, tie off with ribbon and add silk flowers to the center. Voila!
