Sweet and Sophisticated Argyle Nursery

Kristin DeMarco from Gifted Notions has done it again! I keep thinking the rooms that she designs couldn't get any better - but they do! I love how the argyle (diagonal checkerboard pattern) makes the sweetness of the nursery more sophisticated. Here's the scoop from Kristin: This nursery was inspired by the linens and fabrics of the "Kate" Collection by Serena & Lily. The balloon valances and cornices were custom made to tie in the crib linens. The glider is upholstered in Serendipity Pink by Little Castle and the toss pillow was custom made using Serena & Lily Fabrics. The ebony furniture is by Creations. The crib converts to a full size bed so it is a wonderful investment! The pink and green argyle wall became the focal point of the room. The argyle gave the room the perfect mix of sweet and sophisticated. It was crafted by Daniel McIntyre of designs by Daniel. I chose to use black and white portraits over the crib to anchor the dark furnishings. The paint is Light Hearted Pink and Shagreen by Sherman Williams. Isn't this the sweetest room?
