Misty Vento specializes in wall designs for nurseries and children's rooms. Misty describes this room she created, "This is a room for a customer/friend of mine who is also a well known photographer. This was a nursery for her second child and her first daughter so she wanted something sweet but not too "girly". I took my design cues from the style of the rest of her house but also the fact that she is half Japanese and her daughters name is Akina after an oriental flower. She wanted something simple and pretty but not too modern. So luckily for me she loved my idea of stripes on the bottom and tone on tone cherry blossom silhouttes on the top in high gloss white to offset from the baby pink base color. All paints used were no-Voc, non-toxic for a healthier design which the baby could move right into. The photos are done by the photographer/customer herself. She does amazing beautiful work and I was inspired to create something that showed off her talents as well."
