Ladybug Themed Birthday Party with FREE Printables!

Hi everyone! My name is Erin and I'm the DIY wannabe behind How to Nest for Less!

I'm excited to be back again blogging with Toni at Design Dazzle! Hope you guys enjoy my latest project... a Ladybug Themed Birthday Party with FREE printables!

For this 1st birthday party, I created some food table cards, cupcake liners, a birthday garland and water bottle labels for some extra pizzazz around the room. Let's get this party started!

The water bottle labels should be printed on a glossy white paper so the condensation from the cold water doesn't quickly dissolve the paper label. Five labels are printed on one sheet of 8.5x11 inch paper. You can also add a little personal message to the top and bottom of the label!

I actually printed my cupcake liners on scrapbook paper using my Silhouette Cameo, but if you don't have that resource, you can use this printable and trim by hand!

I love the idea of table cards for the various foods you serve at your party, especially if you have guests with allergies. The printable leaves the center blank so you can customize to your menu!

And finally we have a cute little birthday garland for the cute little ladybug! Just print out the number of blank circles you need for the letters and you can use the ladybugs circles as spacers. Or use this printable as a pattern for scrapbook paper! I simply glue the lettered circles on the scalloped circles.

Then I used a hole punch to create two holes in each piece and strung them along with red ribbon. Super simple project!

Well, that's it for today! I hope everyone enjoys the ladybug birthday party printables! And I hope you can come visit me soon at my blog, How to Nest for Less!

Toni, thanks so much for inviting me to Design Dazzle for the day!
Much ♥ to everyone, Erin

Rainbow Party Ideas

Birthday Party Season is in full swing around here!

My kids usually opt for a "character" theme, which is fun, and easy.  But one day I hope to plan parties that aren't based on a Disney Princess or Sesame Street character.  I know, I'll miss it one day...but I'm just sayin'

There are so many other fun and fabulous birthday party ideas out there and I can't wait to take a crack at one of them one day!

So today I wanted to show off a few fun and fabulous ideas that I think would make a great Rainbow Party!

I LOVE these paper pinwheels!  So cute, so simple and so inexpensive!

It would be so cute to do a rainbow layered cake but I also LOVE the rainbow pom pom garland on top of this cake!

Chocolate covered Oreos in rainbow colors!  Amazing!

Fruit kabobs in a fun rainbow arrangement!

Rainbow colored Twizzlers!  So fun!

Rainbow punch using Otter Pops!  How cute is that!?

And a cute Rainbow Punch Game to top the party off!

How fun is that!?

Now if only I can convince one of my kids to let me throw them a Rainbow Party!

Toy Story: Cowgirl/Cowboy Party

This has got to be the cutest Toy Story Jessie party I've ever seen! Beth (the party designer) used a lot of bandanas, cow print, burlap, jute, hay,  the color red and yellow (woody and jessie both have yellow in their outfits). This is a very doable party that doesn't cost a bunch of money - but is so A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!

 Cutest party invitation ever!!

Simple and easy idea - purchase yellow gingham paper and red bandanda paper cut to fit the top of single-serve apple sauce containers and add a horseshoe sticker to the top of each lid. Not only is this an inexpensive food item that kids love but it can be made ahead of time - love it!!

 Jessie bottle cap necklace.

Loving the favor bags! More Toy Party info and images on Beth Kruse Custom Creations blog.
