A teen girls birthday party...designed by dad. Yes, you read that correctly. Aaron Christensen is the dad behind the party. Aaron is also an artist and designer with a line of licensed wall art. His company is the famed
Embellishment Studios which has received many honors and accolades. As you can see, the guy knows what he's doing. It's nice to find a dad going all out for his daughters birthday party. According to Angela his wife - the party decor and decorating was his undertaking and she focused on the invitations, the menu and shopping.
Aaron describes the decor: "The table linens were sewn out of some pink velveteen yardage I had left over from a girl's room project, some black sateen from a halloween party, white butcher paper, an inexpensive but designer looking quatrefoil tablecloth and we borrowed the zebra drapery sheers from my daughter's room to use as a runner.
I strung a wire across the lawn from neighboring trees to secure the outdoor chandelier from. To adorn the chandelier and the wire, I used some miscellaneous pom poms, ribbon and beading I've been toting around for years. We utilized wicked
oil torches
instead of candles, they are just wrapped in fuchsia parchment and damask paper."
